In the back, McGillicutty is making fun of Percy’s boots, which has some tassles on it. McG brings up Percy’s “fall” from last week. Percy says he was attacked. McG says maybe it was Reks, maybe it was Hawkins. Percy claims that tonight, it’s McG and Percy in the ring. McG questions Percy considering him the attacker. McG doubts it and says that he’ll get the last laugh tonight.
Match 2: Percy Watson vs. Michael McGillicutty
McG goes for the legs, but to no avail. A lockup ends up with Percy going behind and clubbing the back. He sends McG into the corner and hits some shoulder blocks. Percy with a whip to the opposite corner into a side slam. Percy with a kick to the gut. Double underhook suplex and a pin for 1…2..NO! Percy scrapes the forehead with the boots then hits a knee to the back of McG and locks in a chin lock. Percy has his Evil Eddie Murphy face on as he switches to a cravat. McG turns into it but Percy hits a right then a knee to the gut. Another, one more, and another! Percy with a high knee to the face of McG. McG out of nowhere hits knee to the gut and a hard chop then a right and shoves Percy to the corner for some shoulder blocks. He lifts Percy’s leg over the ropes, going for the injured knee, but Percy socks himself out of it. McG pulls Percy’s feet from under him and grabs the leg. He tries for the knee again, but Percy fights out yet again. McG gets pErcy in the corner and kicks the knee then whips Percy to the ropes. Percy reverses, bench presses him up and lets him fall. Pin for 1…2…NO! Percy grabs the legs of the fallen McG but McG kicks him off. Percy with a kick but McG hits a dragon screw leg whip. The ref wants to check on Percy’s leg as we go to break.
McG is still on the offense, kicking the back of Percy’s leg. He places the leg on the rope and drops all of his weight on it. One more time for fun. Percy tries to fight back, but McG pounds on the back. He drops an elbow as Percy tries to fight back. McG grabs the leg and heads to the outside then drops the leg ahrd on an apron. McG is back in for a pin. 1….2..Percy kicks out. McG stomps the injured knee then grabs the ankle and works the leg. McG goes Anchorman Ferrell and screams a bit. Percy with a couple of kicks ot the head, one finally lands on the temple and breaks the hold. Percy is up with McG and McG hits a hard clothesline, and a pin. 1…..2….NO! McG with a kick to the back of the leg. McG locks in the Figure Four, asking for a submission. McG uses the ropes as Regal points out that McG could have caused much more pain if he locked in the opposite leg. Nicely done, Regal. McG yells for a submission, but Percy tries to fight back with a right. He hits it and McG breaks the hold. McG is up. Percy is struggling. He wobbles over to the corner and McG flies forward with a clothesline into the corner. Back elbow, but here’s Percy to reverse it and hits some hard elbows of his own. It’s short lived as he falls, but he’s able to whipe McG, who reverses into a whip of his own and Percy hits the corner chest first. McG pins for 1…2…NO! Percy kicks out and it pains him. McG is standing again. He kicks the thigh of Percy’s good leg, knocking him down. McG with a boot to the face of Percy. He grabs the bum leg and kicks the inner thigh. He looks for a leg lock of sorts, but Percy kicks McG out of the ring. McG rolls in at three as Percy stands against the ropes. Percy with a clothesline, back hand, whip to the ropes and a belly to belly suplex. Percy wobbles over to the corner to hit some rights. He grabs McG’s head, plants it on his knee then hits a neckbreaker and a pin for 1…2….NO! Percy is up, McG turns and Percy with a fireman’s carry. He hurts himself so McG is able to float off, hits the ropes, swinging neckbreaker and a pin for 1….2….3!!
Winner: Michael McGillicutty

Note: Could Brock Lesnar help McGillicutty?

- With Brock Lesnar returning to WWE, some are watching to see if it will help out Michael McGillicutty. Lesnar was friends with McGillicutty’s father, the late Curt “Mr. Perfect” Hennig.
Lesnar has been back for two-weeks, and nothing has been evident that he is helping McGillicutty, many feel that the two have a special relationship and that the influence Lesnar has can’t hurt the future of McGillicutty.

Tyson Kidd vs Michael McGillicutty
The battle between the two young superstars with a legacy headlines things right on NXT. The WWE Universe was buzzing for this entertaining match. McGillicutty tried to use the ultimate indignity to beat Kidd with the Sharpshooter, but he fights out. Kidd then applies a modified leglock/headscissors hybrid to make McGillicutty tap out.
Tyson Kidd celebrates his victory as NXT 4/11/12 fades out.

NXT Results- April 4, 2012- McGillicutty vs Bateman
  
In the back, McGillicutty is talking to Natalya. He says if he wins his match tonight, he gets a rematch. He then says he doesn’t know what to feel about it, though. Natalya knows how it is to be a third generation Superstar, right? Natalya says she can see right through McGillicutty’s schenanigans and if he ever brings her family up again, she’ll…throw a top at him.
Match 4: Michael McGillicutty vs. Derrick Bateman
Lockup into a go behind and McG hits a forearm then a kick. He sends Bateman to the corner and starts withh the rights. Derrick reverses it and hits a chop. Bateman twerks the arm and hit another chop. McG is able to get the upperhand with a headbutt then hits a hard chop of his own. Bateman fires back with another one. Bateman gets a knee to the gut for his trouble as McG drops an elbow on Bateman’s head. Rope work ends with Bateman hitting a dropkick then sending McG over the top rope. Bateman is on the apron, he flies with a dropkick that misses much of McG. Bateman calls himself the “best on the net.” We’re back, and both men are in the ring. Bateman lifts McG from the outside apron and goes for a suplex. McG stops it and hits another heabutt then a neckbreaker, using the rope! mcG slides in and hits some stomps to the back of Bateman, then hits a forearm. Chinlock from behind into a toss to the corner. McG with some rights as the ref breaks it up. McG with a hard whip to the corner. Pin from McG but he only gets a 1. Cravat from McG, and he does the Will Ferrell in Anchorman face. HE’S IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION!!!! Bateman is up and hits some rights to the gut of McG. McG whips Bateman to the ropes, though, and stalks him. He hits a nice looking dropkick and a pin for 1..2..NO! McG rubs the forearm into Bateman’s face then locks in another cravat, rolling it into a side headlock. Knee to the gut of Bateman, then some cheesy looking blows to the back. He whips Bateman to the corner then fires into a back elbow from Bateman! Bateman with a Side Russian Leg Sweep into the middle pad of the corner. Both men are down till the 6 count, and here comes Bateman, taking out the leg of McG with a hard kick. Another! Bateman, with a leg sweep and a reverse DDT at the same time. Bateman with a backbreaker! He’s calling for the end. A Swinging neckbreaker and a pin for 1…2..NO! Bateman calls for the crowd support then hits a big splash/clothesline in the corner. Bateman looks to go up top. He’s on the third rope. Here comes a press! McG is out of the way! McG grabs the legs. He’s looking for the sharpshooter. But no, Bateman grabs the head and rolls him up for 2. McG with a kick, then hits his swinging neckbreaker and a pin for 1…2…3!!
Winner: Michael McGillicutty
