NXT Results for August 31, 2010- The beginning of “Genesis”??
Published by: Barbie - Filed under: Uncategorized - Follow us on Twitter - Comment

ALBANY, N.Y. – The WWE Universe and the WWE Pros have crowned its newest Superstar! NXT Rookie Kaval has won season two of WWE NXT and is WWE’s next breakout star.

Kaval vs. Michael McGillicutty vs. Alex Riley

We are back as the match begins. Michael starts kicking at Kaval. Riley charges and gets back body dropped as Michael holds Kaval in a headlock. Kaval escapes and uses his feet to his advantage, hitting a spinning heel kick for a two count. Kaval stomps away on Riley and then whips Michael off the ropes, but Michael hits a dropkick. Riley back up and he stomps away on Michael. Michael ducks under Riley’s right hand and clotheslines Riley for a two count. Riley starts punching away, but Michael just lifts him up for a backbreaker. Kaval back up and he kicks Michael into the corner. Riley comes over and Kaval throws him into the corner and chops away. Riley grabs Kaval and chops back. Michael back up and he drills Riley in the gut and chops on Kaval. Kaval now chops on Michael and nearly sends him to the floor. Michael blocks a suplex attempt on the apron and lifts Kaval up and over to the floor. Riley charges and knocks Michael down with him as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and Riley has Michael in a grounded headlock until Kaval kicks him in the back. Riley with a forearm smashes to both men. Michael grabs the ropes after being whipped across and Riley misses a splash into the ropes. Michael hits a series of clotheslines and a huge splash in the corner. Belly to belly suplex gets a two count as Kaval breaks it up. Kaval gets sent off the ropes, but he leaps off with a springboard back dropkick for a two count. Riley gets caught on the top rope, but shoves off Kaval. Kaval does a cartwheel into an enziguri with Riley on the top rope! Riley hits the floor and Michael drills Kaval. Kaval gets sent out off the rope and spins around to lock in the Dragon Sleeper. Michael gets to the ropes and to the corner. Kaval misses a splash and Michael hits a Fisherman’s Suplex, almost like a Perfect-Plex for two as Riley breaks the pin. Riley gets sent into the announcer’s table by Michael as Miz yells at him. Michael back inside and Kaval connects with a rolling Lyger kick. Kaval goes up top and Riley shoves him off the top rope and rolls into the ring to pin Michael and get the three count. Michael calls it another A-Bomb for A-Ri as Josh and Michael argue for thirty seconds about Riley stealing the match and if it makes him the winner.

In the ring, Matt Striker is with Michael and Kaval and has them face one another. Matt gives then each a change to tell each other why the other rookie should be eliminated. Mike says that Kaval should either he spanked or breast fed by his pros. Michael says that it took Kaval 13 years to get this far and that he shouldn’t be able to do anything else. He says Kaval means flute and just runs him down until he gets buzzed. Kaval says the Michael was trained by Harley Race and was set up perfectly to be here. Kaval comes from a hard working family, a kid from New York with a high school diploma. Kaval says that he earned his respect around the world and got to hang in the ring with legends like Eddie Guerrero and says that he earned the right to be the next breakout star. Michael Cole actually says that Kaval did a really good job and Josh Matthews has idea who will win.

Matt Striker overhypes the final reveal and we are finally told that the winner of NXT Season Two is… KAVAL!!! LayCool come running down to the ring in a screaming fury. Michael looks pissed off in the corner as the three celebrate as Michael Cole states that he has to eat his words and he deserved it. Striker asks Michael first about what is going through his mind. Michael just walks around and stares a hole into Kaval before speaking. Kofi is front and center of the pros. Michael doesn’t know what to say and questions how it possibly could be him? He says it is a joke that Kaval would get a title shot on Pay per View and it would suck. He says Kaval is nowhere near his level and his goal was to become a WWE Champion. Michael lost his guaranteed shot at a title, but it will not stop him for becoming a future World Heavyweight Champion and he is still the next generation and the next big thing. He says from this moment on, it will be the genesis of McGillicutty. Kaval is congratulated by Striker and he thanks the entire WWE. All the eliminated rookies rush in from ringside and attacks Kaval. The WWE pros come in and defend Kaval and the rookies fight back pretty damn well. Husky Harris drills Kaval as the pros just watch. Alex Riley and Michael come back and start attacking everyone, whether pro or rookie. In the end, it is Michael, Riley, Husky, and Lucky in the ring to pound on Kaval. Lucky hits his DVD and Husky follows with his senton splash. Alex Riley hits the TKO as Percy and Titus finally re-enter the ring. They hold Kaval up so Titus can drill him with a sitout powerbomb. Michael starts screaming at Kaval that he should have won as LayCool is devastated.

Special Appareance on the 900th Raw celebration- August 30, 2010
Published by: Barbie - Filed under: Uncategorized - Follow us on Twitter - Comment

Michael made a special appearance on the 900th Episode of Raw celebration tonight, along side his fellow Finalists from Season two of NXT Alex Riley and Kaval. He had a match with all three with their partners, Daniel Bryan and The Miz. Here are some photos and the results from that match. This is simply the calm before Typhoon McGillicutty makes his permantent landfall into the WWE tomorrow after winning NXT!

U.S. Champion The Miz & Alex Riley def. Daniel Bryan & Kaval and Kofi Kingston & Michael McGillicutty in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match

Perform or perish. That might as well have been the ultimatum given the triumvirate of season two NXT Rookies. Just one night before the WWE NXT season finale, the three remaining men teamed up with WWE Pros and Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match.

With gallons of bad blood pumping between the three teams, the match featured United States Champion The Miz & Alex Riley against Daniel Bryan & Kaval, plus Kofi Kingston & Michael McGillicutty. In the end, it was the U.S. Champ and Mr. Money in the Bank who finally pinned the diminutive dynamo, Kaval, to secure the win for his team. After the match, Daniel Bryan booted Riley onto the arena floor, prompting Miz to bash his rival over the head with his Money in the Bank briefcase.

NXT Resluts for August 24, 2010-Down to the wire!
Published by: Barbie - Filed under: Uncategorized - Follow us on Twitter - Comment

Michael Cole welcomes us to the show and passes us to Jamie Keys, who brings out the WWE Pros. The pros overseas are still missing, for obvious reasons. Kofi and MVP get huge ovations and we then get the rookies out to the ring. Matt Striker welcomes them to the final three and hypes up the dream of being the breakout star and the finale next week. Michael gets the mic and calls being in the WWE the greatest job in the world and NXT the greatest days of his life. He says he owes this to his pro, Kofi Kingston, and says wrestling in the same ring as he father is all worth it. Alex says that he expected to be in the finals and examines the point of the challenge. He calls himself the total package, walking and talking the part. Him and his pro will both have guaranteed title shots and he tells Sheamus that if he gets there first, Sheamus will be dismissed. Kaval thanks the fans for their support, but was ready to celebrate last week. He says one pro ruined it for him last week, being upset that his rookie was eliminated, instead of being upset at himself for not doing a good enough job. He then says that he is last of a dying breed by earning his way into the WWE and not getting in because of his father like Cody Rhodes. Kaval steps up to Cody and gives him a challenge. Cody sarcastically likes his originality and calls Kaval the gum on his shoe. Cody then tells him that he won’t take a challenge from him. MVP then steps up and tells Cody that he can’t stand by anymore and watch Cody turn down a challenge. Cody asks MVP if Kaval sleeps at the foot of his bed instead of with his babysitters of Lay-Cool. MVP then nearly goes off and Cody tells him to watch it. MVP then challenges Cody Rhodes to a match tonight and Cody accepts.

It’s now time for the NXT Trivia Challenge for the three remaining rookies. The three rookies are now on the stage around a table. Striker hypes up the rich WWE history and we have 100 points for first round questions, 200 for the second round.

Question Topics:
1) Who was in the first Iron Man Match? – Michael rings in and gets it right… eventually.
2) Kaval gets the members of the Mean Street Posse
3) Michael knows the words to Edge’s Theme Song
4) Michael got it right… honestly, I missed this one while typing everything.
5) Kaval knows Christian’s finisher
6) Kaval also knows who sings Triple H’s Theme Song

Second Round
1) Kaval knows the first IC Champion
2) Michael knows that Eve won the Diva Search in 2007
3) Kaval can finish the Demolition theme song
4) What transportation did the Dynamic Dudes use? Kaval gets it wrong and Alex Riley says Boogie Boards? Really? Nobody has it.

Alex Riley says he doesn’t care about having zero points.

5) Who has the most WWE title reigns? Alex gets it right with Triple H and Cole calls it an A-Bomb for A-Rod.

Kaval wins by a score of 700 to 500 to 200 and Kaval wins a WWE.com feature on himself when the fans go to start voting at noon tomorrow. Cole admits that Kaval is having a great night tonight.

Remember Voting Starts at Noon Eastern Standard Time Tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday)exclusivly on WWE.com! Dont forget to vote McGillicutty as your PERFECT choice of the next NXT breakout star!!

NXT Results for August 17, 2010- On to the Finals!
Published by: Barbie - Filed under: Uncategorized - Follow us on Twitter - Comment

Here are you results for NXT from August 17, 2010! We are heading to the finals!!

We open with a hype video for the double elimination tonight and highlight Lucky’s elimination last week. Cole and Matthews kick it to Jamie Keyes, who brings out the remaining rookies, in alphabetical order. The pros are out on the stage, but Henry, The Miz, and Morrison appear to be missing. Percy has his own T-shirt… really?? Striker again hypes the double elimination and gives the rookies a chance to talk about anything except why they shouldn’t be eliminated.

Percy Watson talks about 3D. He says he lives with determination, dedication, and desire and he has it all to win Season 2 of NXT.

Alex Riley says his topic is himself. He says his behavior might not have come correct and says he maybe he mistake by picking on Kaval and throwing a rabbit’s foot at Lucky. He shouldn’t have called Striker a nerd on television… no that was pretty funny.

Michael is next and his topic is his competition. Michael asks if Percy is smiling or scared. Kaval is next and Michael compares him to a small dog in a fight. He says sorry to Husky as he will win. He then calls Alex Riley the David Otunga of season two. He can talk, but not fight.

Kaval is next and says behind every man has a good woman behind him and he has two of them. Kaval then breaks into a rhyme to take a shot at all the rookies; including saying Percy is too nice and calling Michael by his real name of Joe. He finishes by saying he is the only reason there is “Total Nonstop Action”, which Cole almost went off the deep end on. I mean, I can’t believe he went there and I also can’t believe they let him.

Husky talks about cowboy boots. He says that he always had a pair and that means he is born tough. His boots are Barry Windham’s championship boots and it turns him into a monster. He then reminds us that the he wears boot, just like the devil.

Matt Striker says the first elimination is right now. They don’t show the poll, but show that in the end, Percy Watson has been eliminated! Wow, I called that one. Percy thanks everyone for their support for this season and thanks MVP for being his mentor and his pro. He says that he will take his time to get better while still having fun. Percy gives Kaval a pound and ignores the rest of them as he leaves.

Michael McGillicutty (with Kofi Kingston) vs. Zack Ryder

The bell rings and Ryder gets a side headlock. Michael shoves off and Ryder ducks into the corner after a clothesline. Michael with an arm wrench and he throws Ryder shoulder first into the corner. Michael has his whip reversed and he ducks a clothesline before hitting a dropkick. Ryder gets clotheslined to the floor, but avoids a baseball slide. Ryder with a hard kick to the chest and he rolls Michael in. Ryder kicks Michael in the chest and gets a near fall. Michael slammed into the corner and Ryder pounds away. Ryder hits a face wash kick in the corner for another two count. Headlock applied by Ryder and he whips Michael into the corner. Michael gets the boot up, but runs into an elbow. Michael sends Ryder to the corner and hits a series of clotheslines, including a massive one in the corner. Michael almost gets DQed for not stop punching in the corner and hits a back body drop. Ryder goes to the floor and catches Michael by snapping his neck on the rope. Ryder enters the ring
and hits the Rough Ryder legdrop for the three count.

Winner: Zack Ryder

The rookies are at ringside and Striker puts over their effort before giving us the rookie’s poll. The finale is in two weeks, but someone is done now. No poll is shown again and we find that Husky Harris has been eliminated. Rhodes questions everyone for this decision, telling Ryder to have fun in his future endeavors and tells Layla to stop making out with the rookies. Husky tries to tell Cody that it is his time and Cody just backs him off. Cody tells Riley to make an impact already and tells Michael that he doesn’t deserve to be Mr. Perfect Jr. He goes to Kaval and attacks, along with Husky. MVP and Kofi come down to join the fray. Kofi nails Husky with a kick to the head and Kofi goes up top and hits a modified Warrior’s Way all the way to the floor! Michelle starts yelling at Husky for messing with Kaval as MVP and Kofi back Husky up for him to leave. Everyone is yelling at everyone as we end the show.

McGillabuddy of the Week
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
This weeks McGillabuddy of the Week is a huge fan of the WWE, and an avid supporter of Mike. She is super nice and goes to alot of WWE shows. Her name is Tiffany and is from Kansas City, MO! Please say hello to her by following her on Twitter and here are a few comments about what she had to say about herself and about our future NXT winner Michael McGillicutty!

Hey everybody, I want to thank Barbie for the chance to be McGillabuddy of the Week, especially considering this is the week of the NXT finals where I truly believe Mike will become WWE's next breakout superstar!

It's an honor to be MOTW not only as a supporter of Mike, but as a WWE fan in general. Some of you might know me, but most of you likely don't. I've been known as The Belt Girl in the past, but more recently am associated with being an avid supporter Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes. :)

Now onto the man himself, Mike! I hope with everything that he wins NXT. No one is more deserving. He has the look, the talent and of course it's in his blood. Being the son of one of the greatest to ever step in the ring, Mr. Perfect, Joe has all the attributes to go so far in the wrestling world. Whether he wins NXT or not, he's definitely a future WWE or World Heavyweight champion. I wish him nothing but the best!
